My Review of the Columbia Sandy River Cargo Hiking Shorts

Been getting quite the questions about these hiking shorts so here we are!!! The Columbia Sandy River 6 in Cargo Short Review!

Color: Sea Wave - Bright and fun for summer!

Fit: I am a true small in most shorts and sized up to a medium per reviews saying they ran small. I am very glad I sized up and the medium fits great! They are a little long, I'm 5'4". But I like a rolled leg look better, so 2 rolls up and I love the look! Cause ya know if you like how ya look carrying a 40 lb pack won't matter....right? LOL. The belt that comes with the shorts is easy to un-do and makes sure the shorts don't slide.

Hike-a-bility: Is that a thing? Is now! I really liked hiking in these! They didn't ride up at all and didn't give me a wedgie like a lot of hiking shorts do. Easy to get on and off for peeing in the backcountry during a hot day!

All in all, I really like them! Especially for a backpacking trip where pockets are so nice to have. The material does wrinkle quite easily, as seen on this scorcher of a day (for Alaska standards).

I will definitely be using them for more summer backpacking trips!
